Santiago, Chile – June 2025 — Creative agency Pow Ideas has been awarded the Bronze Trophy at the 10th edition of the prestigious WINA Festival, the most important global festival dedicated exclusively to independent agencies.
The award, in the Design category, was granted for the branding of the 24th Walk for Life, a campaign created for Famac (Friends of Women with Breast Cancer Foundation). The winning visual identity was developed by lead designer Valeria Duarte and was selected from hundreds of international entries by a jury of more than 90 creative industry experts.

“While preparing the images to be submitted to the competition, I didn’t stop to measure the magnitude of what I was doing. But after receiving the news that we had won, it was a wake-up call that reminded me of the impact we can have on people through the art we create,” shared Duarte.

The festival, held in Santiago, Chile, gathered leading figures in the global advertising industry. The event featured an academic agenda including conferences, panels, networking opportunities, and a special reception for Spanish-speaking participants.

Representing Pow Ideas, our business partner and digital strategy expert Vanessa Matadeen, our commercial director, Richard Pérez, and our publicist, Luisana Rios, attended the event and received the award.

“It’s a feeling that’s hard to describe. The Walk for Life by Famac is a meaningful event for women in Maracaibo, for women in Venezuela, for my mother-in-law, for Lu’s mom… for people who were with us and are no longer here,” said an emotional Richard Pérez after accepting the trophy.

Betty Fajardo, president of Famac, also celebrated the recognition:
“The fact that this award was given for a Famac campaign fills us with joy and pride. It’s a recognition of a deeply human cause.”

About WINA Festival
WINA – World Independent Advertising Awards was launched in 2015 to give visibility to independent creative agencies and ensure that the same large networks weren’t always the main protagonists. With a unique format, the WINA has redefined how advertising festivals operate and has become a global benchmark.
Previous editions have taken place in cities like Dubai, Barcelona, Bogotá, Los Angeles, and Buenos Aires. In 2025, the festival celebrated its 10th edition in Santiago, Chile, and will bring together past winners in a special celebration next year in Ibiza.
